With over 37 years of professional experience, I’ve worked in private practice as well as in chiropractic and specialty clinics, including those focused on fibromyalgia and chronic pain. I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients over the years. My approach is a blend of deep, intuitive massage for stress and tension (what many call "relaxation massage") and medical massage modalities for targeted treatment. 

I always tell my clients, "I may be the expert on bodywork, but YOU are the expert on your own body!" My toolkit includes a wide range of techniques—from deep tissue and acupressure to classic Swedish massage, as well as more technical methods like PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and energy work like Reiki. While I have many techniques at my disposal, they are simply tools in the creative, intuitive process of our work together. I believe that listening to your expressed needs and feedback is key. My goal is to leave you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud when you get off the table, and I’m honored to hear that I consistently succeed in that!

In addition to massage therapy, I have 40 years of experience in clinical herbalism and functional nutrition counseling, self-care education (I prefer that term over "coaching"), and advocacy. I can help guide you through the maze of healing within the allopathic medical system. (Just to note, I am not a doctor and do not diagnose or “treat.”) I come from a long line of natural healers and was raised in Europe by my Romanian Jewish grandmother, who used herbs and massage on me as a child. I've worked for Chinese herbal medicine companies, including as the national marketing manager for Taiwan’s second-largest herbal pharmaceutical manufacturer. During the AIDS crisis in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1991, I worked on the front lines, producing Chinese immune-tonifying herbal medicines. I also developed an adaptogenic herbal formula for TwinLabs, which was marketed in natural food stores across the country.
